Shannon Ramsey-Chessman is the Chief Operating Officer of Finance for the Clerk & Comptroller’s Office in Palm Beach County. She first worked for the Clerk’s office from 1997 to 1999, returning to continue her career with the office in 2006. She has held a variety of positions in the finance division including manager, director and now chief officer.
Her sixteen years of diverse public sector experience also include careers with Palm Beach County’s Office of Financial Management and Budget and the 15th Judicial Circuit.
Shannon is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Finance Officer with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University. She is a graduate of the 2011 class of Leadership Palm Beach County and is a member of both the state and local chapters of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association; currently serving as the President of the local chapter and a legislative committee member for the state chapter.
Shannon grew up in Palm Beach County and lives in Loxahatchee with her husband Noel and their four children.
